The new Watchdog Service
We are proud to announce the new Watchdog service!
Watchdog is a public service offering that allows good Samaritans to report pets found walking about a neighbourhood in an effort to reunite them with their owners.
The way Watchdog does this is by allowing lost pets to be reported via a WhatsApp chat.
Users subscribed to the service will receive notifications of the lost pet if the pet was found within a certain radius of the subscriber's place of residence.
Reporters can opt-in to share their contact details with an owner, alternatively the reporter can provide further instructions if he / she is not comfortable in sharing their contact details.
At any point, a user can deregister from our system by selecting the 'Deregister' button when a new conversation is started.
